Ubitransport’s Mobile data terminal is an “off-the-shelf” smartphone (or tablet) provided to the driver.
Passengers are given a contactless travel card, which they validate as they enter the vehicle.
Bus geolocation and ridership data are uploaded to the cloud in real time. The data are processed, then shared in real time with the various stakeholders, including drivers, back-office administrators, bus companies, and passengers. Data are available as dynamic statistics, alerts or customized reports.
