SALES ENGINEER
Permanent job based in Mâcon (71) or Paris (75), France

A leader in intelligent, digital Transportation Systems for public transportation, Ubitransport is a fast-growing, six year-old start-up. Winner of a Pass French Tech 2nd star, Fast 50 Deloitte In Extenso and Top 100 Europe Red Herring.
We manage transportation networks from a smartphone and the cloud! Adapted to meet the needs of all environments, our solutions help local authorities and bus companies to geolocate buses, manage fare collection, provide passenger information and offer a range of innovative services, all in real time.
We are growing fast: 40 people and 80 networks in mainland France, the French overseas territories and Canada. Ubitransport is expanding its teams and regularly seeks new sales engineers.

Your job:

Working under the sales department in France, and in conjunction with:
⦁ The Business Development teams
⦁ The Technical Department

You will be responsible for the following in a specific geographic region:
⦁ Canvassing, identifying and qualifying opportunities with transit agencies, major privately-operated bus companies and family businesses,
⦁ Understanding client needs and mapping them against the range of possibilities offered by Ubitransport’s digital solutions,
⦁ Developing proposals with the support of the technical teams,
⦁ Promoting, presenting proposals and negotiating,
⦁ Monitoring the operational deployment of solutions on transport networks with the deployment and client support teams,
⦁ Developing strong commercial relationships with our clients and representing the business at trade shows in the sector.
⦁ Frequent travel required.

You have / are:

A qualified engineer or a business-school graduate,
⦁ You have around five years’ successful experience in a sales position, working on projects in France and in export markets,
⦁ You have specific expertise in the transport sector,
⦁ Your qualities: excellent business sense, good listening and analytical skills, an independent, proactive approach, strong negotiation skills, resilience to stress, team spirit, transparency, etc.
⦁ And above all… the desire to flourish in a young, dynamic business, enthusiasm for new technologies and a commitment to satisfying your clients.
